Delhi Police Seeks Help From Google, WhatsApp in CBSE Paper Leak Case - veatchvoymber1977

Accordant to a recent report from Hindustan Times, Delhi Police has contacted Google and WhatsApp for help in resolution the current investigation regarding the CBSE board exam paper leak out. The police was new tipped that the leaked papers were circulated in WhatsApp groups which included students, parents, and coaching center tutors from the Delhi-NCR region.

In an attempt to nab the perpetrators, a Special Investigating Team (SIT) from the Delhi Police crime branch has written to WhatsApp headquarters "to revive the deleted chats and messages shared on these groups," a police officer was quoted expression. The officer further revealed that 35 people, including students, parents and coaching center owners, were questioned in connection with the probe into the leak.

The SIT has also asked for information regarding the source of the leak and the names ofaltogether the beneficiaries who received the leaked papers. The leaked written document were allegedly distributed on 10 WhatsApp groups, with 50 members all. The messages take since been cleared and many of the groups have been deleted."A team of cyber jail cell is also examining personal laptops and emails of these WhatsApp radical admins and other suspects,"the officer added.

The police have also written to Google main office to generate more data about the email address that had first disclosed the composition leak to CBSE chairman Anita Karwal on March 28.
